Detroit Metro Teen Photographer~Our Sweet/Beautiful girl :)
Our beautiful girl turns 13 in a couple of weeks. Where does the time go?!?!?!!!!!
During our photo session, MANY blessings from God were showered upon us~~my heart is SOARING!!! First, we almost didn't go out for our daughter's 13 (GULP, 13?!?!?!!!!!) year old pictures because of the dark clouds rolling in, I actually was able to talk her into wearing a DRESS (LOL), the sky not only cleared up, but the sun shined down creating the most beautiful light, our beautiful *baby* girl ROCKED her session and the icing on the cake was when we were driving out of the park and right there in a field next to the road was a deer. McKenna got out and I could NOT believe how close she was able to get to her. She even wagged her tail and @ one point, I swear she was posing for my camera :) Yeah, I have that effect even on animals :) ha ha

Motivational Monday
"“Love begins in a moment, grows over time, and lasts for eternity.”
Yesterday, we celebrated our 17th Anniversary :) It's fun to look back @ how much we've changed through the years! (thank goodness 80's hair, pink turtlenecks (ha ha) and Tom Selleck mustaches are no longer cool :)

Tyler/Metro Detroit/Downriver Senior Photographer
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, to be young again :) (Although I never had this COOL of a car (let alone any car for that matter :) when I was his age). Tyler is far from spoiled though and was not just "handed" this awesome car, but instead, he and his Dad spent countless hours/weeks/months turning a beat up old car into this awesome beauty!! Talk about AMAZING talent!!! And an amazing young man :)
Beautiful Family/Metro Detroit Children's/Family Photographer
Gorgeous, gorgeous, GORGEOUS kiddos :) Who, not only are beautiful/handsome, they were such Troopers putting up with the strong wind and cold temps. :)
Precious Newborn/Metro Detroit Newborn Photographer
Such a beautiful Blessing!!! This little peanut was born 3 months premature and now weighs a little less than 5 lbs.. For his teeny tiny size, he sure does know what he wants and that's to be safely snuggled in his adoring parents arms. What a blessing he is and what an honor it was for me to capture this very precious time in his tiny little life.
The black and white image in this gallery holds a very special meaning for this beautiful family:
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.” ~Matthew 19:14
Little Angel Anthony was born on December 19, 2011 weighing only 1 lb. 10 oz.. He was a fighter and the Lord blessed his amazing family with 22 days of his beautiful presence...............moments I know they will cherish forever. Anthony earned his Angel wings on January 10, 2012 and words cannot even begin to express my deep sorrow for his family and his twin brother, Bradley. Sometimes there just are NO words and the picture speaks for itself~~This is definitely an image that does just that. Sarah, Aaron, Bradley (and all who know and love you), may the Lord bless and comfort you and may Bradley's beautiful face be a light unto your world, bringing you much peace and comfort in the years ahead. And may the precious memories of Anthony forever bless your heart until you meet again one glorious day. God bless you all!

The Photographer's Prayer
"Oh God, as I bring my subject into focus and prepare to make each portrait, never let me forget that I’m creating treasures for some family, a keepsake for loved ones. Make me sensitive to the qualities and virtues of others, that I may draw out into the light the beautiful radiant belongings of their hearts. Help me to be an artist, collecting the beauty of every soul, the glow of youth, the gentleness, the laughter or tears of each life that is precious in Thy sight. Deeper than a means of livelihood, give me the perspective to see my photographer’s art as a service to others,
making life richer and more memorable. And, dear Lord, between the lights and shadows, the ups and downs and the rolling years, keep me from getting out of focus or off center, so that my life and work may be framed with dignity and colored with contentment …
AMEN"
